Chef Juan’s most recent memorable private event: a Thanksgiving family gathering at a residence where members had traveled from out of town. The out-of-town family arrived, relieved not to also have to cook. Chef Juan built a spread that tasted, in one guest’s words, as good as or better than if the family had cooked it themselves.
